We have a great pleasure to invite you for the 43rd Congress of Polish Physicists which will be held in Kielce (Poland) from Sunday, September 6 to Friday, September 11, 2015, at the Exhibition& Congress Centre Targi Kielce. The biennial Congress of Polish Physicists, held since 1923, is the main forum of integration for both Polish physicists working in different areas of physics research and physicists teaching physics at schools.
43rd Congress of Polish Physicists is organized by The Kielce Branch of the Polish Physical Society, Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce and Kielce University of Technology. The honorary patron of the Congress is the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education.
The Honorary Committee includes representatives of scientific institutions from Poland, the vice-chancellors of Jan Kochanowski University and Kielce University of Technology, and the representatives of local authorities. One of the traditions of Congress of Polish Physicists is to host a plenary lecture by a Nobel Prize winner in physics. The representatives of the European Physical Society are also among Congress participants. Typically the Congresses attract up to 600 participants representing Universities, scientific institutions and schools not only from Poland but also from Europe.
Scientific programme of the Congress includes plenary lectures, parallel sessions for different research areas of theoretical and experimental physics, and a poster session. A session concerning teaching and popularizing is of paramount importance.
See you in Kielce!
